The aim of the foundation is to function as a catalyst for change by offering practical solutions and novel ideas that result in creating new solutions, and to share those developments on an open-source basis. Our team explores various projects that combine existing and newly developed sustainable energy technologies into installations with practical applications in different environments and industries.
Dykstra Naval Architects brings over 50 years of experience in design, redesign, naval architecture and marine engineering of classic and modern performance yachts and offers preliminary and concept designs for both pleasure and commercially operated yachts. Founded in 1969 by Gerard Dykstra, and now led by Thys Nikkels and Mark Leslie-Miller, the award-winning team at Dykstra is comprised of passionate sailors actively sailing our own designs and redesigns. Using first hand practical experience combined with in-house developed software to provide expertise in spars, rigs, and structural analysis that is current, tested and tried.

Vitters Shipyard is an award-winning boutique Shipyard with focus on sailing yachts only. Vitters‘ yachts explore the oceans of the world and are distinguished by their immaculate finish, innovative sail systems and on-board comfort.
Vitters Shipyard has a crew of dedicated engineers and craftspeople who have a strong eye for detail and the passion to exceed the expectations of its yacht owners. Excellence is achieved as part of the daily routine at Vitters; innovation, finding the right solutions and precise, professional execution is standard practice.

Since opening its doors in 1961, the yacht design studio of Vripack created a track record for ground breaking industry firsts. Founded by Dick Boom, it’s current owner Bart Bouwhuis and Marnix Hoekstra continue his legacy since 2009.
But Vripack is not your usual design studio. As well as an enviable back catalogue of superyacht projects, the studio has also designed tenders, workboats and ferries. The sum of all these skills is a studio able to turn its hand to anything – and, crucially, conceive a project holistically, from the keel up.
