Renovating a heritage building including a sustainable energy system

This video dives in to the challenge of renovating heritage buildings to a high sustainability standard without infringing on the heritage regulations. The story follows the renovation of an 18th century building in the centre of Amsterdam as it is outfitted with the latest in building energy management technology.

It features interviews with technical advisors from Visietech and architects from Vroom who describe how they came up with a renovation plan which satisfies the sustainability requirements while respecting the buildings heritage elements and fulfilling the client’s brief.
