The sun provides an enormous amount of energy everywhere in the world. On any surface it’s about 500W-1000W. The larger the surface area the more energy you can get with solar panels. However, even when space is limited, solar power can provide a lot of energy.

We followed an engineering project that optimised PVT panels on board a sailing ship to get the most amount of energy in a limited amount of space.
